Hello, my name is Zoe.

I'm a student midwife at ACU and I'm looking for Melbourne women who are interested in having the support of a student midwife throughout pregnancy and the post natal period.

When I was born, I took longer than expected and my grandma burnt the lamb she was roasting. I was born at home and like most babies I wasn't working to anyone's schedule. While living in a foreign country and coping with a traumatic first birth, mum enlisted my midwife to help her re-find her mojo. My midwife's name is my middle name today, which shows she did a great job.

Considering this, it surprises me that it took me three years finishing a BSc at Melbourne University to figure out that I was meant to be a Midwife. But, I guess it's no surprise that I'm still not working to that schedule.

Today I am a passionate Melbournian, foodie, cyclist and student midwife.

If you are less than 35 weeks pregnant, please take a look around the site, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at zjchri001@myacu.edu.au - I live in Melbourne’s inner north, but am happy to travel.

Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers - strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
